Sliding platforms and container translation systems have one job: move heavy loads horizontally. Sounds simple. But you already know it's not.

The stroke has to be long — sometimes very long. The load has to move smoothly, without jerking or binding. And if you're working in cold climates, standard seals turn into hard plastic and leak.

We've built these cylinders before. A lot of them.

What you're up against

First, the stroke. Standard cylinders max out around 500-1000mm. Your platform probably needs more. We've built up to 2800mm. Need longer? Let's talk.

Second, the cold. One of our customers in Belgium runs their sliding platforms in winter. -30°C. Standard seals get brittle. We use low-temperature seals and special grease that stays fluid when it's freezing.

Third, the support. A long cylinder mounted horizontally can't just be bolted at the ends. The rod sags. It binds. It wears out fast. We design support brackets — front, rear, and rod end. Keeps everything aligned.
