Material conveying systems move plastic pellets, powders, and granules through pipes using air pressure and vacuum. They run continuously. They handle abrasive materials. And when something fails, the whole line stops.

The cylinders in these systems have a simple job — open a valve, actuate a diverter, operate a discharge gate. But if a cylinder sticks or leaks, material flow stops. Production stops. That's a problem.

Standard cylinders weren't designed for this environment. The seals wear out from constant cycling. The rods get scratched by abrasive dust. The mounting configurations never match the tight spaces inside a conveying system.

We build cylinders that belong in these systems.

What you're dealing with

First, the space. Conveying lines are packed tight — pipes, filters, receivers, vacuum pumps. There's no room for a bulky cylinder with a universal mounting bracket. You need something that fits exactly where you have space.

Second, the duty cycle. These systems run all day. Cylinders cycle thousands of times per shift. Standard seals overheat. They wear out. They fail.

Third, the material itself. Plastic pellets are abrasive. Powders are fine and find their way into everything. Standard rod seals weren't made to keep this stuff out.
