Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Tainan, Taiwan, China, AIRTAC is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pneumatic components and automation control equipment. After more than 30 years of development, its product range includes pneumatic actuators, treatment components, control components, and supporting pneumatic accessories.
AIRTAC has established a complete industrial chain and global layout in the fields of pneumatic technology R&D, precision manufacturing, system integration, and automation solutions.
With a manufacturing system centered on “Technology + Standards + Automation,” AIRTAC ensures that its products maintain stability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in the global automation equipment market.
A pneumatic system is an automated system that uses compressed air as a power source and achieves energy transmission and motion control through pneumatic components. Pneumatic systems work collaboratively across different products to complete system tasks. Compared with hydraulic or electric drive systems, pneumatic systems are more flexible, safe, high-frequency, low-cost, and easier to maintain.
AIRTAC pneumatic components cover the entire spectrum of air supply, control, and actuator units. AIRTAC achieves system-level compatibility and optimization. In an overall system, AIRTAC pneumatic products provide the following collaborative advantages:
Rapid response and high repeatability
Low energy consumption and smooth operation
Modular structure for easy maintenance and expansion
Strong compatibility, compliant with international standard interfaces
Support for multi-scenario customization and smart control upgrades
As one of the most critical actuators in pneumatic systems, AIRTAC cylinders feature high-precision manufacturing, premium materials, and strict quality control. Advanced automated processing and inspection equipment are used in production.
CNC Turning and Boring
High-precision CNC machining centers ensure micron-level concentricity and surface roundness of cylinder bores.
The inner wall is finely honed and polished to achieve a surface roughness of Ra0.2–0.4 μm, ensuring smooth and low-friction piston movement.
Surface Treatment
Cylinder bodies are anodized or hard-oxidized for wear and corrosion resistance.
Piston rods undergo high-frequency quenching and chrome plating to extend service life.
Sealing System Assembly
All seals are assembled in a cleanroom environment using imported wear-resistant seals such as NBR, PU, and Viton to ensure excellent airtightness and long service life.
Fully Automated Inspection
Every cylinder undergoes 100% airtightness testing and motion inspection before leaving the factory to guarantee consistent performance, no leakage, and smooth operation.
SC Series
Compact structure, lightweight design
Cylinder body made from high-precision aluminum alloy, piston rod with hard chrome treatment for wear and corrosion resistance
Standardized interfaces: ISO 15552 or ISO 6431
Wide stroke options, adjustable with limit screws or cushioning devices
SU Series
Smaller size with better sealing
Faster response, lower inertia, high precision
Shorter strokes with limited adjustment
Suitable for space-constrained automation equipment, fixtures, and small conveyors
AirTAC cylinders come with various accessories, including mounting parts, transmission connectors, sensors, and pneumatic interface fittings, which improve installation flexibility, control precision, and system reliability.
Piston and Seals: Precisely matched and assembled
Piston Rod Materials: High-strength alloy steel or stainless steel, hard-chrome plated for tensile and wear resistance
Seals: Made from wear-resistant, high/low-temperature resistant FKM or PU to ensure long-term airtightness
Accessory Materials: Mounting brackets, trunnions, and foot mounts mainly use aluminum alloy or steel for strength and lightweight
Pneumatic tubing interfaces are designed with threaded or quick-connect fittings, ensuring easy connection and maintenance while maintaining airtightness and pressure resistance.
The company emphasizes high precision for sealing surfaces and fitting tolerances. AIRTAC actuators undergo CNC turning, boring, polishing, and electroplating. The surface roughness of piston rods is usually controlled below Ra0.2 to ensure smooth movement, low friction, and excellent airtight performance.
For mounting accessories such as brackets, trunnions, and connectors, Fokca uses automated milling and stamping, with surface anodizing or nickel plating for enhanced strength and durability.Contact us directly!
In addition to actuators and mounting accessories meeting AIRTAC and ISO standards, Fokca also provides a full range of airtac pneumatics, including various types of pneumatic actuators, air treatment components, high-pressure hoses, and convenient fittings.
